Hi friends! If you’re a beginner, sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. When those feelings come on (or on days you just aren’t feeling very creative), sometimes a great option is to just practice brushwork, glazing, and washes on some simple shapes that can turn into something pretty! The last thing we want is for the idea of painting something to stress us out. Art should be relaxing, maybe even joyful, and keeping things simple can really help capture those feelings when you’re just not feeling like things are going their best. I hope you join me (and my kitty cat who decided to join us) for some painting with whatever supplies and paper you have on hand for this easy watercolor shapes and doodles painting!
