Hi friends! Today I’m testing some new Masters Touch by Fabriano watercolor paper and comparing the new 25% cotton hot press paper with cellulose watercolor paper and 100% cotton hot press paper. I also picked up some Masters Touch by Sennelier watercolors and a few other art supplies, so I’m putting everything through some real-world sketchbook and watercolor tests.
I’ll be looking at how the different papers handle watercolor, blending, glazing, water blooms, texture, and layering, along with taking a look at some new watercolor markers and white gel pens. If you’re an artist shopping on a budget, I hope this gives you a better idea of what you can expect from these affordable art supplies.
