Hi friends! In today’s video, I’m creating some simple handmade collage papers using acrylic paint and acrylic paint markers. I had a few large sheets left in an 11×14 mixed media sketchbook and some paint I wanted to use up, so I decided to turn them into colorful papers that I can use in future mixed media projects.
One of the things I love about creating collage papers is that they become a creative resource for future artwork. These papers can be cut up and used in art journals, sketchbooks, collage projects, mixed media paintings, and more.
This process is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic for me. There’s no pressure to make a finished piece of art, just enjoying color, pattern, and the creative process.
