Hi friends! Today’s video is a cozy acrylic and mixed media painting session paired with some thoughts I’ve been having lately about creativity, hobbies, and why it can sometimes feel so hard to do the very things we want to do most. I talk a little about my own journey getting back into art, how pressure and overthinking can sneak into creative hobbies, and why low-pressure projects have become so important to me. While I work on a loose still life painting with oranges and a pitcher, we chat about creative blocks and learning to enjoy the process again. I hope this video gives you a little inspiration and encouragement to make something today, even if it’s imperfect.
