Hi friends! After sharing my swatching and first impressions, I wanted to take these supplies a step further and see how they actually behave when layered together in a real sketchbook setting. In this video, I walk through some earlier experiments where I tested different layering approaches and talk through what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised me. Then I do a more in-depth, real-time layering demo to compare results and see how materials interact in practice with the Neocolor II crayons. I found that some combinations layered much more smoothly than expected! So this is a closer look at how these supplies perform beyond simple swatches. Let me know if you’d like me to keep exploring more combinations or test anything specific next! Products mentioned: Sakura Solid Paint Markers, Derwent Drawing Pencils, Faber-Castell Goldfaber Markers and Colored Pencils, Nova Color Acrylic Paint, Caran d’Ache NeoArt Crayons, Caran d’Ache Neocolor I, Caran d’Ache Neocolor II.
