How to Use Doodle Shapes to Create Interesting Gouache Folk Art Flowers

Hi friends! I broke out the ShinHan gouache again to do these easy doodle flowers in my art journal! This idea came to me after I painted one of my watercolor cards and did the same thing with a Christmas tree. I first drew my basic flower shapes, and then I made some swirly doodle marks all over the sketch, and then filled in each little shape with a color. This project is a lot of fun, great for beginners, and is also great to practice brush work and color mixing. I hope you enjoy!
