My Homemade Prompts and Mixed Media Art Journal Page - Acrylics, Ink, Stencils

Alright everyone, grab your art journals and paints because we’re going on a creative adventure! In this video, I’m using prompts to guide me as I create an abstract piece. It’s a fun way to spark some inspiration and see where the art takes you.

First things first, I prepped my art journal and gathered my favorite paints and brushes. Let’s see, what’s the first prompt? Ah, “Color a highlight.” Intriguing! I grabbed a gold pencil and doodled some stars across the page.

Now things get interesting! The next prompts had me reaching for all sorts of tools. Lines, hard edges, splashes – you name it, I was adding it to the artwork. It’s amazing how each prompt sparked a new idea, and I loved experimenting with different textures and colors.

We even got a little messy with some collage paper and stencils! It was like building my artwork layer by layer, each prompt adding another element to the story.

Finally, after all that creative exploration, it was time to add some finishing touches give the closeup of the final pages.

I hope this video inspires you to grab your art supplies and get creative in your own journal! Remember, there are no right or wrong answers when it comes to prompts. Use them as a jumping-off point, let your imagination take flight, and see what unique masterpiece you create!
