Mixed Media Moments #2, What Art I'm Working on This Week
Hi friends! I have a full length process video of a watercolor ink background with acrylic paint and ink layered on top. I love this combo because you can get some nice sharp edges and shapes over the top of a very fuzzy and blended background. How to Paint a Fun and Easy Stylized Flamingo with Acrylic Paint and Collage
Hi friends! I broke out an old gesso'd over painting on a canvas board to play with my inks and liquid watercolor! Hi friends! Sometimes when we're not feeling like making art, it's the best time to get started. Staring at a blank page can be rough and for me, getting started is always the hardest when I'm not feeling very creative. But it's always helped me when I just forge ahead anyway, and make a bunch of marks to get into the motion of things and warm up, and some of my most favorite pieces have been created that way!
